Galvanize Receives FedRAMP Authorization from US Federal Government

Vancouver, B.C., December 3, 2019 Galvanize, a SaaS governance, risk, compliance (GRC) and audit management software provider, today announced that its HighBond platform has achieved FedRAMP Agency Authorization, receiving Agency Authority to Operate (ATO) at a Moderate security level through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s Program Management Office (FedRAMP PMO).

“Becoming a FedRAMP-authorized vendor demonstrates our commitment to meeting the very highest industry standards in providing secure and reliable SaaS solutions for all our customers, but especially those in the federal government,” said Keith Cerny, chief technology officer at Galvanize. “So, government agencies can confidently adopt one or all of the GRC products that make up the HighBond platform for their risk management, audit, information security, and compliance needs.”

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services to accelerate the adoption of cost-effective SaaS technologies. Galvanize embarked on the intensive FedRAMP authorization process to meet the growing demands from customers for a secure, fully integrated risk management platform. In addition to benefiting US federal government customers, commercial Galvanize customers also gain many additional security improvements.

“By using HighBond, federal agencies can increase efficiency in their governance processes through best-in-class data automation,” said Dan Zitting, chief customer experience officer at Galvanize. “Having served dozens of civilian and defense agencies for over 25 years, our products are configured out-of-the-box, including pre-built content, for federal environments, and are supported by a dedicated federal practice team. This ensures agencies achieve quick time-to-value, allowing them to focus on successfully achieving their missions.”

Over 6,300 organizations and more than 900 government agencies worldwide have turned to Galvanize to support their security, audit, risk management, internal control monitoring, and compliance requirements. The company’s flagship HighBond platform is listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace, an online portal of approved cloud service offerings available for federal government use.
